Hi everyone,
So this Covid-19 crap really sucks!.... but it's something we are all in together, so If you've been ordered to stay home... Stay home, stay safe and stay healthy.
I had an awesome Bridal Shower for my best friend planned for April 4th. However, since the Coronavirus spread like wildflower, it sadly had to be rescheduled. No biggie! It will be even more awesome since my planning time has been extended.

I'm sure I'll have a few more posts about The Bridal Shower That Was Not, but this one will focus on these adorable Air plant holders that were going to bud as two things. They were going to be scattered on the tables for added decor, and they were going to be the party favors. Everyone was going to take one of these cuties home with them... but since the shower didn't happen I have 45 of them floating around my house. At least they put me in a fantastic mood!

What you'll need:
- 2" Doll Heads (bought here)
- 2" unfinished wood blocks (similar to these)
- 1" and 1/2" Spade bit or forstner bit (The links are the ones we own)
- Air plants =) I bought mine from here... they came really quickly and they were all very healthy.
How we made them...
It's actually quite simple really. We just clamped them to our work bench and used the bits to put about a 3/4" hole in the center of the blocks and doll heads. We used both sets of bits, they essentially do the same thing the forstner bit just cuts a hole with a flat bottom while the spade bit will leave a cone shape in the middle of the wood.
I'll definitely be showing them on tables at some point in the future as well.

Killian and I are going to dye a few of them since we have a lot of time on our hands. I'll update the post when we do it. Who knows? We might even paint a few for fun.
Now for a little plug for a friend and fellow small business owner.
I have known Natasha for basically my entire life! Our families used to camp at the same campground annually in Key Largo called American Outdoors. Man, I wish it were still open. Those were the good ol' days.

Anyway, Natasha owns TheHappyNarwhalShop on Etsy! You should check her adorable, printable greeting cards out! They are perfect for any occasion, and as soon as you purchase it a digital copy is sent to you to easily print.
